The most fun I had was on a series of siege maps - both attacking and defending.

So, I can't manual block to save my life, which means I died a lot. I decided to fire it up this weekend, and I had an absolute blast. The moment I start taking it serious I have to stop because a lot of cheap, annoying things can happen (damn cheap ass cavalry!) It is fun, but certainly not for everyone and even though I love it, I can only play it when I am in a casual mood. You get too used to cutting through swaths of AI in single player and you generally have to be a lot more careful in multiplayer. It's a different cup of tea than single player certainly, and I find if I play a lot of single player and then go to multiplayer I do horribly. Nation matters a lot too, and over time you'll learn which maps favor which nations. Over 100 ping is seriously detrimental and more often than not will get you killed a lot.

Sieges are also a hell of a lot of fun, regardless.Īlways join something low latency. I personally like Deathmatch a lot because there is definitely a tendency for clans to always migrate to a single team and the nonmembers are all stuck on the other side being terrible. What you should be looking for is Siege, Battle, or Deathmatch. But it's not your typical game, more of a practice mode. The server you joined was probably a duel server, which is awesome to learn on if you need to improve your 1v1 skills and/or manual blocking. Well I guess I'll throw in a different view.

If I can't find a lord who wants to start a war I'll just have to do it myself.
#Tweakmb prophesy of pendor plus#
You'll get all the normal benefits of starting the war, plus a quest complete! Chances are, at least one of them isn't happy with the peace, and will give you a quest to go start the war (usually by raiding 3 caravans, or something like that). Usually they'll declare war for gross acts like taking a castle.īefore you do this, though, talk to a bunch of lords on your side. If they fail to act on the provocation their kill wil lose support. If you raid one of their caravans or sack a village you'll provoke them. What can I do? Will it piss my king off if I just start attacking cities or lords of other countries? What about raiding their caravans? Ideally I'd like to start a war between my country and theirs and wreck their shit so I can take their towns and perhaps own one or two more. I only own one village which doesn't make me a lot of money and I don't want to keep fighting sea raiders over and over and there aren't enough tournaments. So, my kingdom is at peace with everyone else and I'm kinda running out of ideas.
